As China lifts hold, UNSC lists Makki as global terrorist

https://ift.tt/gjrEhI3 Pakistan-based leader of UN proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Abdul Rehman Makki, who is also the brother-in-law of most wanted Hafiz Saeed, was designated a global terrorist by the UN Security Council after China dropped its technical hold over a proposal to list him under the UNSC's ISIL (Da'esh) and Al Qaida Sanctions Committee.
