Sensex soars 700pts on FPI surcharge rollback

https://ift.tt/2Ho6B40 Equity indices on Monday opened on a positive note with the benchmark BSE Sensex rising more than 600 points in the opening session as markets cheered the rollback of surcharge on foreign portfolio investors (FPIs). The 30 share index opened 662.97 points or 1.81 per cent higher at 37,363.95, while the broader NSE Nifty rallied 170.95 points at 11,000.30.
